Miller, Jr., John Edward

John Edward Miller, Jr., age 66, of Newark, DE, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 25, 2008. Mr. Miller was a member of Life Community Church where he enjoyed singing. He built an online ministry providing education and training in Christian ministries. He pastored the Miller Family Nursing Home Ministry which provided church and hymn services for the past 15 years. Mr. Miller served in the U.S Army. He completed a Marine Corp. Marathon in Washington, D.C. in 1981. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Soul football fan.

Mr. Miller is survived by his wife of 48 years, Carol, 3 sons: John Miller, III & wife, Jan, Tom Miller, David Miller & wife, Della; 2 daughters: Cathy Dreyfus & husband, Paul, Angel Creegan & significant other, Michael Evans; brothers, Brian & James Miller; sister, Delores Gyomber & husband, Thomas; 5 grandchildren: Alyssa, Samantha, Richard, Mazzie, Joshua; 4 aunts: Betty, Gloria, Kathleen & Dottie; and an uncle, Floyd. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Miller, Sr. & Elsie Brandel.
