TCOLW Staff & Supporters
|
This page is dedicated to
everyone who has had a hand in supporting our ministry; first,
and foremost, I would like to give all recognition to my Lord
and Saviour Jesus Christ, and secondly, to my Wife Carol for
your tireless support, hard work, and your selfless contribution.
I
would like to start off with a little history about myself, and
the journey that has brought my family into this calling!

 My
Name is John E. Miller Jr. and I am the Senior Pastor of T.C.O.L.W.
(The Church of Living Water). I am an Ordained Minister and a
graduate of Saint Luke School of the Bible. I have a degree in
Christian Ministry, a Pastoral Diploma from The Cathedral University,
and a Professional Adult and Senior's Minister's certificate
from the Trinity Institute of Christian Counseling. I am also
a graduate from the Wilmington Spokesman Club, which is an organization
that is similar to the Dale Carnegie Leadership Training course.
My life
story was produced and broadcasted on a radio program called
Unshackled; the program reached 150 countries. It is produced
by a ministry called Pacific Garden Mission which is located
in Chicago IL.
I
was also one of three ministers serving in a ministry called
Till Shiloh Come; a ministry that primarily services nursing
homes in the Greater Wilmington area. It services people of all
ages, the elderly in their last years of life, and those who
are much younger and are there for short and long term rehabilitation.
I was responsible for holding church services in 4 homes, and
a Bible Study at one independent living retirement center prior
to resigning due to illness.
I
occasionally perform funeral services, and for the last couple
of years I have performed marriage vow renewal services for ten
couples in our nursing home churches. One of the vow renewal
services was given front page coverage in "Better Years;"
a local community newspaper. We also performed a September 11th
memorial service, Easter, and Christmas services for nursing
home residents, family, and friends in 2006.
My
wife Carol and I sing and have sung Christian Praise music at
a number of churches, community centers, retirement centers,
and nursing homes. Aside from being a gifted singer, Carol is
also a member of Till Shiloh Come ministry. She is also Secretary
and Treasurer of TCOLW and can perform sign language. She has
been certified as a volunteer aide for Delaware Hospice Inc.
Carol and I now minister to nursing homes through our own ministry,
the "Miller Family Nursing Home Ministry."
We are
both 64 years old. We have been married for 45 years, and have
five Children; three boys, two girls, and four grandchildren.
We have resided in the Wilmington DE area for more than 30 years.

 My name is John E.
Miller, III. My wife, Jan, and I have been married since March
1991. We have two beautiful daughters, Alyssa and Samantha. I
have worked in the construction trade for over 20 years. Currently
I work in a wood shop where I make and install counter tops and
occasionally build cabinet for a locally owned building supply
company. My mother taught all of us Miller kids, of which there
are five, about Jesus from a young age. When I was a teenager
I decided that I didnt want anything to do with church
or God. I felt that if I didnt know anything that I wouldnt
be held accountable. But God had other plans.
I
joined the Army in 1986. When I was stationed in Camp Casey,
Korea, God decided to get my attention. I was in a tent that
caught fire from someone who fell asleep while smoking. As a
result, I sustained third degree burns on both of my hands and
had smoke inhalation injuries. My eyes were also severely scratched
and had to be sutured closed for about a week. As I said, God
decided to get my attention and He did ever. I decided at that
time to become a Christian. I was baptized in February 1990 after
I was discharged from the Army.
After
leaving the Army I resumed my contracting business that I had
before going into the military. I went back to school for electronics
engineering but after about a year and one half I decided to
stick with carpentry. In 1994 our first daughter, Alyssa was
born. Then in 1998 our second daughter, Samantha, was born. The
year before Samantha came along I had an opportunity to take
a position with my current employer. They offered good benefits
which is what we needed so that Jan could stay home to raise
our girls.
With my
fathers recent health problems, he asked me to help out
with his church and I agreed to do so. I took the online ordination
course that he offers and was ordained in October 2007. I look
forward to serving the church and whatever challenges may come
in the future with The Church of Living Water.

 My
name is David L. Miller. My wife, Della, and I have been married
since February 2004. We have an awesome son, Richard Garcia who
was born of Rudy and Della Garcia in 1995. I have worked at numerous
places in sales, contruction, and driving positions. After September
11, 2001 I began working towards joining the USAF to serve my
Country. I successful joined in 2003 and I am currently serving
as a Staff Sergeant
Regardless of that, the most important
thing i've done in my life as of yet has been to help tend to
my Father's medical and comfort needs during his transition into
the next life on August 25th, 2008.
My
wife Della also joined the USAF in 2003. We met because we were
in the same classes together throughout technical training. We
didn't realize until after we got together that we had actually
spoken once before. When we were in chem/bio training there were
several flights being trained at the same time. Each flight sat
on their own set of bleachers. During instruction someone loudly
passed gas on the metal bleachers and the instructor stopped
to look around at the 100 or so of us. I figured it would be
funny to yell out "It was 494!" which happened to be
the flight number of all the females. I immediately received
a response, "No it wasn't!", from one of the females
in the flight. Yep, you guessed it! It was my future wife!
I took
up helping my Father with the website a couple of years ago.
It started out as little pointers and html code help on occasion.
I built a single web page to accomodate a list of links so that
his members could click to listen to the New Testament online,
and from there it developed into building this whole new website
for him and his members to have an online fellowship community.
With my
fathers recent passing I know that the website will need
updates and changes and my Mother will need help completing these
tasks. I feel that it is an honor to be included in God's work
through this ministry and I will do anything I can to help!

Pakistan Ministry
BRINGING THE SPIRIT OF PEACE;
THE GOSPEL TO PAKISTAN
Therefore go and make disciples of all
the nations , baptizing them in the name of the Father and of
the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything
I have commanded you. And surely I will be with you always to
the very end of the earth.
-- Matthew 28:19-20

My name is Asher John the
Pastor of Asher John Ministries. I have been educated in the
Bible by a Bible Study correspondence course which I have completed
and by the inspiration of God. My desire has been to serve God
since the early age of 14 years old.
Because of my community service
and the spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ I have been granted
an Honorary Doctor Of Divinity degree from The Church Of Living
Water, a church ministry located in the USA. I have also been
granted a church charter and have been ordained by this church.
I am a member in good standing.
HARDSHIPS OF THE MINISTRY
The spreading of the gospel
in Pakistan is very difficult and at times very dangerous, since
we live and minister among fanatic Muslims and a Government that
oppresses Christians in general. There are many hurdles that
are set on the course of spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ
and much prayer is needed for us. The Muslim Religious leaders
are busy day and night attacking Christians by discrediting Christianity
and with armed threats against anyone that would even consider
converting to Christianity. There is much concern here for the
safety of those that do convert. As I said earlier, spreading
of the Gospel here is a very dangerous business, but we at all
times keep our focus on and depend upon the Lord Jesus for our
every need, and by doing so can tolerate the abuses that we encounter.
OUR SOCIAL WELFARE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
We are operating a social welfare
assistance program that is provided to the general public, Muslim
and Christian alike. Many souls can be won to Christ by being
obedient to Lords command of "Love Thy Neighbor as thyself."
The giving of much needed goods to the people is an act of kindness
and mercy and opens the door for us to begin to preach the gospel.
These goods are distributed in the following ways;
Financial assistance;
Dowry to needy Orphans;
Assistance to Widows;
Anti Drug Program;
Literacy program
Program for human rights
OUR NEEDS
Our Ministry home base is here
in Karachi City but we are very carefully expanding our ministry
to other parts of the surrounding country as God leads us. God
has put it our hearts to build some meeting places here in Karachi
City to hold church services and in the future, when God provides,
we plan to do that. But our most immediate needs are cash, dry
goods--books, clothing, food ect. for more details you can reach
me at my email address at;
With your help many people
can be comforted with much needed physical things, and with your
help many here in Pakistan can be reached with the Gospel message
of Jesus Christ. Please consider Donating to our ministry. We
are in very much need of your help. Every dollar that is donated
goes through Pastor Millers account. He in turn sends the money
to me.
